I am a technology leader who focuses on making systems reliable, teams effective, and technology actually useful to businesses. I’ve led modernization efforts, stabilized complex environments, and helped organizations scale without sacrificing existing product performance. My strength is clear leadership and communication—turning complex technical topics into straightforward plans and building teams that execute and adapt.
As former CTO of a high-growth payments fintech, I led the build and operation of a complete in-house global payment processing platform, including direct acquiring connections to Visa and Mastercard, PIN/EMV handling, and three company-owned data centers (two US, one international) achieving 99.999% uptime.
Over three years, I grew and led a 30-person engineering organization covering infrastructure, platform, and product — delivering a successful international expansion on a greenfield payment platform while maintaining full PCI DSS Level 1 and SOC 2 Type II compliance. After a strategic shift by executive leadership away from a technology-first approach and a downsizing of engineering, we parted ways.
My deep technical foundation, combined with strong communication and leadership skills, enabled me to build a highly cohesive team that achieved 0% voluntary attrition over three years — including successfully integrating my former manager as a direct report post-reorg.
